Road Trailers

All members please note that Road Trailers should not be left at the Club.  In the Dinghy park they reduce the available space between boats and elsewhere they reduce space which the general membership should be able to use.  Any road trailers left at the club for more than a few days, without prior consultation, will be removed.

Car Park Barrier

Members visiting the Club over the weekend may have noticed that the car park barrier is fixed in the up position. This is due to a mechanical problem that is being investigated by the manufacturer and it will be repaired as soon as possible. In the meantime, would all members please help by only using the car park if you have paid to do so and by ensuring that your pass is displayed in your windscreen. We will be checking with the drivers of cars that are parked without a pass to try to maintain availability of space for our members. Many thanks.

Clearing the dinghy park

There are a few very old surfboards that have, over the years, been "dumped" in the dinghy park in the sink area. In line with our Constitution, and RYA guidelines, we are giving notice to all members that these will be disposed of in one month's time unless they are removed before then.

Welcome to the New ESC Website

If you were wondering why the site looks a bit different, it's because it has been redeveloped by John Singleton, using a totally different approach.  The old site, possibly one of the oldest sailing club sites in the UK, had undergone a number of cosmetic changes over the years but the time had come to do things differently. Thanks to John for his work in making this important change for the club, and to Graham Sykes for providing technical resources during the redevelopment.
