Cruisers - "The Wine Run" - Briefing Meeting 2 July 2009

The cruise is to St Peter’s Port (Victoria Marina) in Guernsey leaving either Wednesday evening (8th July) or the Thursday (9th) to meet and have dinner in St Peter’s Port on the Friday evening (venue TBC). Then returning on Saturday or Sunday to Exmouth via Alderney or Cherbourg if crews wish to.

Briefing meeting on Thursday 2nd July at the Exe sailing Club 20.00-21.00ish for more details.

Car Park Barrier - Important

The car park barrier has finally been repaired today after several delays. So, please remember to bring your barrier card with you if you want to get in the car park as the barrier will be left down.

 

River Exe Regatta

Well done and thanks to everyone who helped to make the regatta a success.  There will be a full report in the Journal this week.  You can see the results on the regatta website, the pictures at Fotoboat and a report on the Yachts and Yachting website.

 

420s at Kiel Week

Tom Kinver, sailing a 420 with Charlie Makepeace, is competing at the Kiel Week international regatta.  After 2 races he was in 30th place out of 160.  See the event website for the latest position.
 

Changes to Safety Boat Rota

A new safety boat rota has been posted.  Click here to view/download.  There are some gaps in the rota, so volunteers to fill them would be appreciated. 
 

Try a Q'Ba - only 2 weeks left!

2009/10 Winter Berthing for Cruisers

Please note that application forms for winter berthing for cruisers will be available on the Board at the Clubhouse from Monday 1 June 2009.  Applications, complete with cheque for payment, must be lodged by 1 July 2009.

Road Trailers

All members please note that Road Trailers should not be left at the Club.  In the Dinghy park they reduce the available space between boats and elsewhere they reduce space which the general membership should be able to use.  Any road trailers left at the club for more than a few days, without prior consultation, will be removed.
