The BOC have just announced that Stevie Morrison and Ben Rhodes have been selected by the RYA to fill the GBR 49er slot at the Weymouth Olympics.  This is fantastic news and all members will wish to send Stevie and Ben their congratulations and best wishes for the event. 

Congratulations to Liz Teague/Andy Williams and Orkun Soyer/George Melbourne on their solid mid-fleet performances at Bristol Corinthian last Saturday.  Nasty windy day with lots of DNFs.

We were delighted to hear yesterday, that Ben Cornish has just been selected for the Team GBR Olympic Development Squad. This is great news for him and I am sure you will all want to join us in congratulating Ben on this achievement. Well done, Ben.

The Exe Estuary Management Partnership are holding an Estuary clean up event on Saturday 19th May 2012 between 12 noon and 2.00 pm, from the Imperial Recreation Ground, Exmouth.

The calender has now been updated with the coming year's dates for cruisers.  

In addition to the usual racing calender we have cruising adventures for all abilities; Family Cruising, Wine Run, Coastal Hop and numerous sociable cruises to local ports. Please contact me if you are interested in participating or want more information, please do feel encouraged to get out there and make the most of it.  

I am also interested in introducing skippers to crew for cruising and racing, as we seem to have both at a loose end.  Please get in touch if you are crew or skippers looking for help getting out on the water.
